Oil stains: use gasoline or carbon tetrachloride andother volatile solvent remove, use alcohol to clean residual part.
Soy sauce stains: If it is new stains, first brushwith cold water, then wash with detergent to remove. If it is old stains, firstbrush with warm water adding some detergent and ammonia, then use clean waterto rinse.
Shoe polish stains: use gasoline, turpentine oralcohol wipe first, then wash with soap.
Piss stains: If it is new stains, washwith warm water or 10% of the ammonia. If it is only stains, first wash withsome detergent, then wash with ammonia. Pure wool carpet need to be washed withcitric acid.
Juice stains: use 5% of the ammonia liquid cleaning first, and then wash it with some detergent. But ammonia has damage to the pure wool carpet fiber, generally we use citric acid or soap to clean, also can use alcohol.
Ice cream stains: use gasoline to wipe.
Wine stains: If it is new stains, wash with water. If it is old stains, wash with aqueous solution of ammonia and borax. If it is wool or silk carpet, wash with usable oxalic acid.
Coffee stains, teastains: wash with ammonia. Ifit is wool or silk carpet,soak in detergent of oxalic aciid for 10 to 20miniters before washing, or clean with 10% glycerol solution.
Vomit stains: one wayis to wipe using gasoline, then wipe using 5% of ammonia, finally rinse withwarm water. Another method is wetting the stains with 10% of the ammonia, thenwipe with liquid soap adding alcohol, finally cleaned with detergent.
To remove the stain but also need right wipe method, not damage carpet and erlarge the stain areas. So we must pay attention to the following when wiping:
1. Wiping from the edge of stain, gradually narrowed to the center, toprevent stains spread.
2. Silk, wool carpet should not be clean with ammonia, water containingsoda.
3. Oxalic acid is toxic, when using, should dilute with warm wate,concentrated acid has damage to fiber.
4. Not wiping too hard, otherwise you will damage fiber and surface.
5. Potassium permanganate is a strong oxidizer, will destroy the carpetcolor, be careful to use.
6. Turpentine oil, gasoline and other flammable, do not use near fire.
7. Alcohol can not be used in glass fiber.
